Elmo-services unavailable at 27.2 – CANCELED!

Elmo-servers will be under maintenance on Monday 27.2. Services (intra, desktop, workspaces) will be completely unavailable few ours and short blackouts may occur whole day. Update 24.2 Because of technical problems detected in testing the maintenance break is cancelled and Elmo-services are normally available on Monday 27.2. A new date for maintenance will be informed later.

Office 2016 deployment

Deployment schedule: All new Windows 10 installations now have Office 2016 pre-installed. Personnel can install new Office from “Software Center”. All student computers are upgraded to new office in summer in the fall there will be mandatory upgrade if old version is still used.

Java problem in Optima – Repaired

30 Mar at 7 p.m. Optima is operating normally.   Optima’s internal Java application’s certificate has expired. Therefore, for example file editing in Optima has not worked. The problem is now twisted JAMK’s workstations and requested the software manufacturer to update the certificate.
