Email sync problems?

The Office 365 service (which also includes the Outlook e-mail service) has notified several users within last 24h that the organization has adopted two-phase authentication (MFA) and that the mail application on the terminal must therefore be changed.

Two-phase authentication has not been implemented and the notification is due to a fault in the O365 service that is currently being fixed.

Emails may no longer be synchronised to mobile apps normally, so email might not work on mobile device until the fault has been fixed. However, email works normally on desktop and in a mobile browser.
