After June 1st, 2022, OneDrive size limit per user is 50GB (please notice update in the end of this article). This should not affect anyone’s day-to-day operations in any way, but the restriction is still required to be set at some reasonable level for a more comprehensive backup of files within M365 services.
It is still possible to increase the size limit if needed.
You can check the size of your OneDrive by logging in to M365 and then select Onedrive -> Settings -> OneDrive settings -> More settings -> Storage metrics. Another method is to right-click on the OneDrive icon in the lower right corner of desktop and then select “Settings” (see picture below).
Update 31.5.2022
This limitation has been postponed becaus of delay with backup solution and few other issues. At this point you can continue using OneDrive with previous limitations. We will inform if and when this situation changes.
