ICT services have the opportunity to provide support even when the user is not physically within JAMK’s premises. For this need, there is a remote support application that the user can launch on the workstation. This allows you to share your desktop, keyboard and mouse with a support person.
How to use
Windows workstations
Option 1 (Computers with JAMK software package)
- Launch the Software Center from the desktop and install the “Remote support” program
- Give the code displayed in the program to the support person
Option 2
- Download the application here (if for some reason the download is not successful, you can also download it from the manufacturer’s page)
- Launch the downloaded application on the workstation
- Give the code displayed in the program to the support person
Mac workstations

Android ja iPhone/iPad
- Install software from Google Play -store (Splashtop On-Demand Support) or
from Apple App Store (Splashtop SOS) - Star program and give all required permissions if asked
- Give the code displayed in the program to the support person
