Remote support

ICT services have the opportunity to provide support even when the user is not physically within JAMK’s premises. For this need, there is a remote support application that the user can launch on the workstation. This allows you to share your desktop, keyboard and mouse with a support person.

How to use:

Windows workstations

Option 1 (Computers with JAMK software package)

  1. Launch the Software Center from the desktop and install the “Remote support” program
  2. Give the code displayed in the program to the support person

Option 2

  1. Download the application here (if for some reason the download is not successful, you can also download it from the manufacturer’s page)
  2. Launch the downloaded application on the workstation
  3. Give the code displayed in the program to the support person

Mac workstations

  2. Launch the downloaded application on the workstation
  3. Give the code displayed in the program to the support person

Android ja iPhone/iPad

  • Install software from Google Play -store (Splashtop On-Demand Support)  or
    from Apple App Storesta (Splashtop SOS)
  • Star program and give all required permissions if asked
  • Give the code displayed in the program to the support person
