Strong authentication will be extended to services using HAKA login on 12.12.2022

Strong authentication (MFA) is used in Jamk in several services and after Monday, December 12th, 2022, all services using Jamk HAKA login will also require it. For example Moodle and Peppi use HAKA.

You can authenticate to these in the future the same way as you already do when you log into your mailbox or any other M365 service. The only change is the appearance of login page and that when you enter your ID (email address) on the login page, you must also verify login using Microsoft Authenticator application on the mobile device.

In addition to improved security, this change makes daily use a bit easier, since if you have already been authenticated during the same session, a new login may not be necessary at all when opening the service’s website.

This change does not affect Exam classrooms (mobile devices are not allowed in those rooms).
