Microsoft discontinues the use of the Stream Service as a destination for Teams recordings. From now on, the recordings will be stored on Onedrive. The change was applied on November 13, 2020, but it may take a while for the settings to take effect. So current meetings can still go to Stream. Recordings already in Stream will not be affected by the change.
By default, the recording is made to the Onedrive service of the user who starts the recording. It can be found in the “Recordings” folder, which is automatically created at the root of the Onedrive directory. In addition, all participants in the meeting will have the right to view that recording. Excluding external users to whom the right must be granted separately.
Channel meetings are always saved in the files of that channel, regardless of who starts the recording.
